I applaud you for standing up and saying what needs to be said. So many photographers are worried that they need to protect their image &amp; their ego and that lowering prices sends the wrong message and devalues their art. While those are all absolutely valid points, you have to eat.The reality has been especially hard to swallow for the photographers serving that top percent of the market. 

When you slash your prices, you need to look at cutting your costs as well so you aren&#039;t just killing all your profit. One of the things we have done to make this work is offer packages with both reduced rates and reduced product. Options became more a la carte rather than all inclusive. Upgrades that had been included are now offered at an additional cost. Expensive packaging was retooled to be more cost effective. It&#039;s a lot of little things, but has allowed us to stay profitable. You have to stay flexible and if something isn&#039;t working, try another approach.]]></description>
